Please let me introduce…

I know the blog has been rather quiet for awhile… but I have been busy, busy…  working on something HUGE!  Several long-time rescue volunteers and I have been creating a brand new rescue group and it is finally ready to launch!  The group is called Stepping Stones Canine Rescue and this Saturday is our “introduction” to the world!

We have been raising funds like crazy and trying very hard not to take in too many dogs too fast.  Of course, we would prefer to help ALL of them.  But, the reality is that dogs are expensive and rescue is even more expensive.  Therefore, we must be careful about what we do.  There are already several dogs in the program and they can’t wait to meet you!  So, come on out because…

Cookies and Cream has created a brand new ice cream, just for dogs… and they asked us to help them celebrate!  There will be face painting, games for the kids, an activity area, crafts and of course… lots of dogs and ice cream!  Adoptable dogs from Stepping Stones will be on site as well!

Your generous caring benefits the animals you look over and you will be repaid many times over, “confuscious”.

Beagle puppies are just about the cutiest.
My experience with beagles as a boy was excessive barking though a nuisance as explained to me by the neighbors. Love Dad

Well, I am pretty sure they pay me back in cuddles n wet kisses several times over. 🙂 All of the beagles we have had (4 so far) have distinct howls. However with proper excercise and lots of attention, they have never been louder than the other dogs we have had… The loudest was a lab that barked at squirrels… We had a lot of squirrels! We do warn people that beagles can be noisy, but do far these guys have been great!
