Bye, Bye Birdie

Scott and I have been watching these cute little birdies for the last few weeks. Despite the mess they have made under our carport, we have enjoyed seeing them grow up… they were so close to leaving the nest.
On Friday, I met this creepy guy (or girl… I didn’t get that close).
The nest was empty… the snake had a small bulge in his/her belly. Any idea where the birdies went?
