Puppy Updates!

Here is an update on Spirit, more on the other pups later:

Every day this little girl proves to me how far a little faith can go (thank you to Patricia for not letting me give up). When she first came to live with me, she didn’t want anyone to touch her and spent all of her time hiding under the couch. Now, she jumps up onto the couch, into our laps and falls asleep! She even loves to have her ears scratched.
Last week, she was spayed and is recovering nicely. She is now officially up for adoption and being advertised as such. However, she will stay at our house until the perfect family comes along.
She has now decided that I am her favorite chew toy, so we are working on some “nibbling” issues. She wants to chase my legs and wrestle with them, like she does the other dogs. So, boundaries are a necessity.
She has taken a strong liking to several toys (usually anything the other dogs have). It took her some time to warm up to the Shar Pei puppies, but now they all love each other and can’t seem to stop wrestling.
So, I am thrilled to say that Spirit is thriving!
