It is so quiet now.

Big news in the Westberg home! Duke went to his forever family on Sunday. A few weeks ago, Duke was featured in Happy Tails Magazine. He received a ton of attention and caught the eye of a sweet young couple looking for a new boy.
They were proud parents of a Mastiff, named Nike, until she passed away at age eight from cancer about a year ago. With lots of experience under their belts and a warm home to fill with the likes of Duke, they seem to be a great fit. Best yet, his new mama works from home… so she can be with him all of the time. Honestly, I don’t think there is anything Duke would rather have than constant companionship. No updates yet, but I have a feeling they have their hands a little full right now!
This means we are down to just two foster dogs (doing everything I can not to take in anyone until we sell our house… Lord help me!). The house is so quiet and calm without Duke. We couldn’t be happier than to know he is in a loving forever home. But, his presence is certainly missed.
Thank you for all of the laughs big boy! May you find everything a dog could ever ask for! We love you.
