Update

Just a little update on the kiddos that I am currently sharing my life with…

Bennett and Odie are doing great and growing up really fast!  Bennett was just eight pounds when we brought her home.  She is quickly nearing the twenty pound mark. 

Bennett’s ears seem to be growing faster than the rest of her!  (And they are huge dirt magnets!)

Both of them have been doing very well in their kennels and just love to play and cuddle.  Bennett has an application pending.  We should know shortly if she will be going home soon – boy are we going to miss her! 

Odie is a handful, he keeps us going every minute.  He is a ton of fun.

He has yet to grow into  his wrinkles.

I love their up-turned noses.

Spirit spent three weeks at the Humane Society.  She had an approved application, but they withdrew at the last second.  Therefore, we brought her home for some respite.  Since coming back, she seems better than ever.  She is now jumping up on the couch to cuddle with us, she is walking on a leash very well and she approaches up to strangers with little hesitation.  I am so proud of her!

The puppies adore Spirit and she tolerates all of their rough behavior.  Most of the time, at least one of them is on her back, pulling on her ears or chewing on her tail.  I think she loves them. 

Tally is doing very well… after two years, she has finally mastered the art of cuddling.  She follows me just like Toto did in Wizard of Oz.  I just love being able to open the door and she walks right along with me.  I open the car and she jumps in with excitment.  Anywhere I go, she is within a few feet of me.  It is adorable and so flattering!
