Finally Home.

Tally came into my life in October of 2009.  The horrible situation that she came from melted my heart and I found myself sneaking her special food and occassionally cuddling with her in the kennel when no one was looking.  Eventually, I took her home where I could really spoil her.  Despite being adopted four times, she managed to continue to be returned to me over and over again.  Over two years later, she has finally found her forever home…

….with me.  It is official, several weeks ago, Tally became a permanent member of my family.  The behavioral issues she came to us with have nearly resolved with constant love and routine.  She sleeps in my bed, with her nose nuzzled into my side.  If I sleep in too late, she is the first one to lick my face and wake me up.

I certainly never expected to adopt Tally, but sometimes a dog decides where she wants to be and there is no arguing!  She deserves a family that will love her forever, exactly as she is.  It warms my heart knowing that she is going to be safe and loved for the rest of her life.  No more attending adoption fairs, no more wondering when someone will see her for the beauty she is, no more waiting….

Welcome home Tally.  We love you!
